Michael Virata, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Michael graduated and earned his associates degree from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle, Washington. He became interested in physical therapy after having to go to physical therapy for knee dislocation and fell in love with the environment. He performed an internship at Intecore Physical therapy as a student and had a wonderful time with all the workers and decided why not work here. Living the dream! He loves the idea of understanding the human body and being able to help and rehabilitate people and help them "return back to life".

Originally born in San Diego, California, and having his dad in the military, he was able to travel all over the from California, Japan, Philippines, and finally Washington since 2005. In his spare time he enjoys working out, hiking, and exploring the next best restaurant!

Andrew

Andrew Vertson, PT, DPT, ATC

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Andrew received his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from California State University Fresno in 1991. He then earned his Masters degree of Physical Therapy in 1996 and his Doctorate degree of Physical Therapy in 2002 from Loma Linda University. He has also completed extensive post-graduate course work in orthopedic manual therapy through Kaiser-West Los Angeles and the Ola Grimsby Institute.

He has more than twenty-five years of clinical experience, and extensive continuing education in orthopedic physical therapy. During his career, he has worked with professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, in addition to numerous Olympic gold medalists as well as movie and television personalities.

Andrew’s main focus is returning his patients to life. This means helping the patient get back what makes them most happy! In his free time, Andrew enjoys cooking, flying as a private pilot, and traveling with his wife, Catherine.

Jacqueline

Patient Care Coordinator

Jacqueline was born and raised in Washington State. She was a part of the North Mason High School graduating class of 2000. After high school, she decided that living life to the fullest was her agenda. Marching to the beat of her own drum, Jacqueline loves to be daring and adventurous. Jacqueline has worn many hats in her life as far as her career is concerned such as, being a makeup artist who has done several shows with CSTOCK & WWCA (Fame, Wizard of Oz, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Into the Woods, & Titanic, to name a few) & being a merch for the All-Girl’s AC/DC tribute band Hell’s Belles for 5 years. In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys skydiving, learning to ride motorcycles, participating in the new skater program with West Sound Roller Derby, random road trips, going to concerts, working in her yard and more. Jacqueline’s favorite thing in the whole world is spending time with her husband Rob, son Keller, dogs Bella, General Leia Organa, & a yet to be named puppy & cat Lemmy Kilmeowster.

Jacqueline is happy to be a part of the team returning people to life.
